At Judd, Mrs. Oliveris 4th grade science students are learning about how animals communicate through their senses. Today they learned how light travels to the eye and then to your optic nerve through a fun experiment with a vision box. They also learned how important sight is for animals when communicating in the wild.

Mrs. Marrone and Ms. Strouse’s first graders at Judd have been studying the life cycle of oak trees in Benchmark. During a walk around Judd, students collected acorns and leaves to make personal connections to their learning. They were thrilled to discover acorns that had begun sprouting and couldn’t wait to plant them in their backyards!

We just got a letter! Mrs. Georgiou's class got a special letter delivered from Kickstart! We learned the letter m today, practiced making the sound with our mirrors and writing the letter m. Can't wait to see which letter Kickstart will deliver next!
